Description
- Rhizobium is the bacteria that live in symbiotic association with the root nodules of the leguminous plants.
- Fixation of nitrogen cannot be done independently.
- That is why rhizobium requires a plant host. Rhizobium is a vital source of nitrogen to agricultural soils including those in arid regions.
- They convert dinitrogen into ammonia. Ammonia, being toxic in nature. is rapidly absorbed into organic compounds
Seed treatment:
- Take 100 ml. of Zubium in 1 Liter water prepare a solution, 10 kg of seeds with
- this solution and keep the seeds under shade. Use dried seeds for sowing. If the seeds are to be treated insecticides and fungicides then apply biofertilizer at the end.
Sapling Set Treatment:
- Take 100 ml. of Zubium in 20 liter water, prepare a solution, dip the seedlings or sets for 15to 20 minutes immediate.
Furrow Application:
- Mix 500 ml. of Zubium with 30-4o kg. of compost / farm and soil and apply in furrow for 1 acre of land.
Drip Irrigation:
- Take 500 ml. of Zubium in 100 liter of water prepare solution and apply this solution for 1 acre of land through Drip irrigation
